Russian shopping centre fire: At least 37 people killed after blaze at busy Winter Cherry mall in Kemerova

WORLD NEWS: The fire at the Zimnyaya Vishnya (Winter Cherry) shopping mall in central Kemerovo erupted on Sunday on the top floor of the four-storey building engulfing an area of some 1,500 square meters.

Twenty people were saved from the burning building, and some 100 others were evacuated.

According to preliminary data, 40 people were injured, including 37 killed in the fire and 69 people are missing, including 40 children.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic specifies information on the presence or absence of  Kyrgyzstanis among the dead and injured in a fire in Kemerovo (Russia).
