Due to erratic changes in weather conditions on March 22, 2018 in mountainous areas of Kyrgyzstan, there is a danger of avalanches and snow drifts in the roads.
Snow drifts and slippery surfaces are expected on the mountain roads of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek – Osh (121-137 km, 198-265 km, 355-370 km); Ala-Buka – Kanysh-Kiya (68-99 km); Krasnaya-Gorka-Ak-Tash (1-4km); Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart (289 km); Kazarman-Aktalchat (67-94km); Iyri-Suu area (42-44); Aral-Suusamyr (8-21 km); Myrzake – Karakulja – Alaikuu (45-90 km, 145-150 km); Karakol-Engilchek (45-90km):
When driving through the avalanche-prone areas, one should strictly observe the 500-meter distance between vehicles.
Shelling was held at Bishkek – Osh and Suusamyr-Talas-Taraz roads
Due to the threat of avalanches, to ensure safety and prevent human casualties, it became necessary to conduct artillery shelling for the forced descent of avalanches on the 121-129 km of Bishkek-Osh and Suusamyr-Talas-Taraz roads from March 22 to 25.
Artillery crew and operative group of MES KR held a shelling on the 7-8 kilometers of Suusamyr-Talas-Raraz road.
At 11:40 to 12:30 hours were 8 shots, the volume of avalanches was 1500 m³.
The work will continue on March 23, 2018.

According to the State Fire Fighting Service agency of the MES KR on the territory of Kyrgyzstan has been registered 17 fire accidents, to extinguish them were engaged 18 fire brigades.

In Talas district on the 35th km of Suusamyr-Talas-Taraz roads, the duty was organized, as a result of temporary restriction for the traffic movement from 9:00pm to 6:00 am.
